Tunnel Execution in Poland.

Tunnel TBM execution and conexion galleries by belgian method. 
Through a subsidiary company, it has been equipped with a workforce for execution with TBM of two twin tunnels under the Vistula River mouth in the Baltic Sea. Each tunnel has 1,075 m of lengh and circular cross-section of 11 m free diameter, with two walkways and hard shoulders for each one. Both tubes are connected to each other by seven cross-relief galleries, with free section of 12 m and a length of 20 m. The lining of the tunnels has been made with prefabricated keystone of reinforced concrete with 60cm thick

The excavation of the tunnels was performed with a tunnel machine of "hydro shield" type with 12,56 m in diameter, specially designed and commissioned for this project.

Execution of conexion galleries between both tunnels. 
Due to the conditions of Poland, It has to use ground freezing technique to excavate them.  

The excavation method used has been the Belgian method.
